IMPAQ International and its local partner are seeking an Analyst for the 5-year USAID/BiH Monitoring and Evaluation Support Activity II (MEASURE II), which began in September 2019. The project supports a broad range of activities including performance monitoring and program evaluation; policy research and data analysis; sector assessments; survey design and data collection; MEL technical assistance and training; and collaboration, learning, and adaptation (CLA) support. 

Responsibilities: 

The Analyst will support a broad range of activities, and the selected candidate will be engaged in the following, under the guidance of a designated MEASURE II supervisor:

1. Provide support, as needed, to monitoring, evaluation, and learning tasks under (providing technical assistance to USAID/BiH and implementing partner staff for performance plan development, performance tracking, and performance monitoring).

2. Provide support, as needed, to evaluations, assessments, and special studies (designing and conducting evaluations, surveys, assessments, and special studies), including supporting the following tasks:

  • Use quantitative and qualitative methods and techniques to manage and analyze research data; 
  • Create customized presentation and technical reports from data analysis results;
  • Conduct site visits and interviews to assess program implementation and operations;
  • Produce research reports.


Qualifications:

  • At minimum, a Bachelor’s degree in social sciences such as political science, sociology, economics, psychology, international development, monitoring and evaluation, or a related field is required; 
  • Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative research methods in social science;
  • Experience in using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Interest in applied social research;
  • Experience in using a data analysis tool, i.e. STATA, SPSS, or Office Reports are preferred;
  • Excellent written and oral communication and outstanding interpersonal skills;
  • Fluency (reading and writing) in English;
  • Ability to work within interdisciplinary team;
  • Volunteering experience will be considered as an advantage;
  • BiH citizenship required.
